Here I am on the left -- I figure you might as well see who is behind all of this vintage clothing, yes a real person, not a faceless, nameless corporation.
I am a local business with strong ties to Central New York, I always support other local businesses rather than shop the scourge of the nation -- "big box" retailers, (unless of course the workers have either Union representation or make a "living-wage".)
I have great passion for music, mainly because I am far from being musically inclined, so I just enjoy the art of other people performing their craft live!
Below you can indulge my ego and view some images I decided to toss up on this page...
Heck, what's the point of having a website if you can't do that!?!?!?
So what am I listening to right now?
WDET 101.9FM (Detroit) and KRFC FM (Fort Collins, CO)...man I love this broadband connection...just for the fact I can listen to radio stations outside of Syracuse (which sadly is mostly all Clear Channel garbage, and not local independant radio.)
What am I reading right now?
Mostly Jim Thompson (you know, author of "The Grifters" and "The Getaway") of course I read both of these books years ago, recently I decided to pick him back up by hitting up his other works and just bought a box-load of his books from www.powells.com.
What's for dinner?
Something made with lentils. You know there's more to lentils than the flat green ones.

Ahhhh...this image is from Cleveland, OH.
Drove 350 miles (one-way) in September, 2004 to see Junior Brown play at the Beachland Ballroom, sadly we were late due to a wrong turn onto I-71 South instead of staying on I-90 West (at that time I was dating a blond Polock, and to quote him, "probably the dumbest creature on the planet being blond and Polish." Hey, he said it, not me.
So we only caught the last five songs of his set (phew, good thing we got in for free). Aside from all that, it was worth it -- super dork fan got her photo taken with Junior after the show -- he a rare sans hat appearance!

This image is from Albany, NY. November 12, 2005. I had the honor of hanging out with Phil and the band, The Blasters after the show. And I (as far as I am concerend) am a lucky gal for getting a hug and kiss on the cheek from Phil!
That's right, Phil Alvin kissed my cheek! Must be that fabulous red shirt I got from Highly Atomic in Syracuse!!!
I thanked him for playing, and I hope they come back to New York State soon! (pssst, quit passing by Syracuse! I am tired of driving 260 miles round trip to see great concerts!)

Here I am dressed as a very bad Heidi on Halloween 2004 in Los Angeles. Probably my best costume ever!
