Black chiffon over black acetate skirt. I LOVE the print -- gold flowers with green leaves and stems. Nylon zip up the back, and has hooks and eyes for closure. I think this in home sewn. There is wear on the waistband, mostly to the print, it is worn. this is no big deal, being it is confined to the waistband.
Appears to have hardly been worn. Clean and ready
to wear!

Condition: Unique black taffeta skirt with a gold net like print and a subtle flocked design that I'm not sure if it's supposed to be sea life caught in the net ot just flowers. Side metal zip, no pockets, unlined. Overall in very good condition, someone make the waistband bigger (but they matched the fabric well) and some of the flocking is wearing off the taffeta. Otherwise the skirt does not have holes or pulls or damage. A must have in your collection!!! |

I made this for myself many years ago for a play, wore it once, and it's been in the closet ever since. Made of a poly felt, skirt has a side nylon zip.
Has a store bought poodle applique and leash. The small dot of glue you see on the felt is from where the leash was tacked down, but came loose from.

Condition: I dare say I have never seen anything like this before, and I say I don't think I ever will again! From the estate of a dress shop owner in Albany, NY. This is a cream wool skirt, knit, probably made in Japan (we have a wrap to match in the accessories section. Must wear with a slip. There is a repair on the waistband, and there are a few pulls in the long strands of the skirt, nothing serious, and probably to be expected considering how this skirt is made. Side metal zip and elastic waistband. Truly incredible! Saw identical skirt worn by a character in the film "Hollywoodland" (movie about the life & death of George Revees the TV Superman) |
