Rare Purse made of Paper with Seashells

Condition: WOW. I can't find the words to describe this purse -- at first I thought it was made of straw or raffia...but on a closer look the outside of the purse is made of woven paper! It is thin strips of paper woven onto a canvas like backing, the handle is made of sturdy plastic coated wicker. Lined in beige acetate, tagged Made in Japan. Front is decorated by velvet flowers, glass flowers, shiny seashells and glued on beads.
There is light wear and fraying on the top side edge on the right hand side, about 2 inches in length, the business of the bag makes it not so noticeable. Also there is a water mark on the inside of the lining (not seen or caused from the outside) Otherwise it is in tip top shape and not spotty.
Measuring 14 x 10 x 3 inches -- including the handles. Can't miss with this one!
