Description:1940s white metal purse -- Whiting and Davis alminum and lined in navyconstructed in a "chain-mail" method. Lined in navy satin. In good condition the hinge on one side is in need of repair and a few of the links are also need to be relinked. Also some of the white paint has chipped off some of the links and on the handles.
A really unique piece.
10x7 inches long.

Condition: This purse is to die for -- I've been thinking and thinking about keeping this one for myself...but I just can't justify it. Made of a black wool jersey, the front has a floral design with beads glued all over it. There are black plastic flower beads down the sides as well. Lined in navy acetate single compartment with a zippered pocket inside. A few beads are missing, knocked off in use, nothing serious or detrimental to the purse. Do not let this bag out of your sight!!!

Latch looks like an old style lock. There is a fray on the left hand rear corner of the bag (thus the cheap price for something this rare and unique).

Condition: This purse is so unique -- made of crochet raffia and is completly covered in plastic beads. Metal frame and clasp and feet and has a stiff handle covered in raffia as well. Lone fault to this purse is that the heandle raffia shows wear, light fraying at the top.
Nothing to detrimental to the handbag. Lined in cream plastic and fabric and tagged "made in Japan"

Description:
What a classic -- made of net-like white cotton with a plastic bead-like design affixed, lined in cream rayon, two sections as well as a middle pocket with metal zipper and has triangular shaped hard handles on a metal snapping frame. Overall in very good condition -- beads look great and no tears in the netting -- lone fault is a small dime shaped rust stain on the lining. This is 12 inches wide at the bottom, 8 inches tall (not including the handles) 12 inches tall including the handles and 4 inches wide at the bottom.
