Oh-la-la! I just see someone from the film "All About Eve" wearing this dress at Bette Davis' party! Made of a very lightweight acetate the dress is printed in a multi tone brown swirl print. Skirt and front of the bodice is lined. Metal zip up the back. Skirt is gored so it gets fuller as you go from the waist to the hem. Waist/hips are tucked and gathered fo a figure hugging look.
No serious wear on the neck or underarms. Ready to Wear!

Description:This is what I call the Pleasentville Dress! Reminds me of the mom in that movie. Made of crepe, in cornflower blue with bright pink flowers printed on it. Side metal zip, pockets, rhinestone buttons up the front. Really a looker for any age woman. There is ring around the collar discolorations, but this is ONLY inside the dress and not a visable thing when wearing this frock. Not a signgle holes or pull in the crepe, and it is clean as a whistle. Has shoulder pads. A must have in any rockabilly gal's wardrobe! |

Condition: Here is another adorable dress, made of a light teal and white floral patterned acetate, with a side metal zip, rounded collar and a nice full pleated skirt.
Overall in excellent condition, but the underarms seams are slightly pulled, as are the two back darts in the dress.
Still not a huge problem when wearing the dress, although if you are a hardcore swing dancer, you might not want to wear this dress on the dance floor (I have runined many a dress from doing slick moves!)
No tag, so it might be home sewn. Otherwise in excellent conditon, the neckline and underarms are clean and other than the few pulls,
no other pulls and no holes on the dress. Grab this for your next special event!

This dress is in next to new condition -- I dare say the dress is unworn, the fabric does not show signs of wear on the neck or underarms. I think this dress was home sewn. Condition: Oh-la-la! This dress is out of sight, made of a cornflower blue silk, and the bodice is decorated with Italian cut work and embroidery. Front buttons and a box pleated skirt. Unlined.
The dress does have a fade on the underarms, not watermarked, but clearly faded. I don't think this will be a big deal when wearing the dress, because who the heck will be staring at your underarms, but it is worth mentioning.
Despite this fault, the lacework and the fact that this dress is silk still hold it's value. No holes or pulls in the decorations, nor on the dress itself. Clean and ready to wear, you can't miss with this beauty!

Condition: I just love this dress, and don't worry just because it's red with green trim, you won't look like a Chirstmas tree! This is a sea foam green, with a speckled weave, the dress has red front buttons and red yarn trim on a little bow.
Dress is super sheer, so you will need a slip.
The fabric flows and will cling nicely to the right curves. Pin pleated bodice, box pleated skirt, and a side metal zip.
Really this is the ultimate rockabilly dress. Light wear on the sleeve cuffs, there is a little fray on the underside seam.
Otherwise this dress is solid in fabric and construction, no thread pulls in the fabric or on the seams. Ready to wear!

Condition: This is a super soft dress! Made of an acetate/rayon -- this dress feels like you're wearing nothing at all. Dress is sleeveless with front buttons and a full pleated skirt. It does show wear on the underarms and on the inside back of the collar -- mind you this is just fabric wear/fade not holes or pulls. When wearing the dress I doubt you'd even notice that flaw.
