Description:I just love this dress (I have one just like it in blue!) made of a floral print cotton in pinks/reds on white the dress has a front zip, inset gathered neckline with rick-rack trim and pin pleating down the front. And of course the dress has nice roomy pockets with rick-rack trim. Vintage does not get any better than this! Possibly home sewn, but I know dresses like these were made commercially in thw 1950s by a variety of manufacturers. Light uniform fade from normal laundering and this does not take away form the dress at all. Clean and ready to wear -- don't be left without this dress in your collection! |

Condition: If this isn't a Lucy dress then I con't know what is. WOW! And it's in a purrrfect large vintage size!
Made of a black and white gingham taffeta, big bakelite buttons with rhinestones up the front, the skirt is lined in red acetate, short sleeves, and a bow detail.
Looks to be home sewn.
Overall in excellent condition, but the dress has light wear on the back of the neckline and on the underarms, it's wear, not staining.

Description:I totally love this dress! Made of a sheer purple chiffon, the dress has decorative buttons in the front, a batwing collar, and a side metal zip. Dress is in excellent condition, the only wear on the dress is from being in storage, but it's not yellowed or anything drastic like that. Lone fault is one of the rhinestones in one of the buttons is missing. Otherwsie the dress does not appear to have been worn much if at all! Don't let this one pass you by. |
