Condition:  Super rare gaberdine bowling dress of turquoise with grey contrast trim. Has the blet and the skirt has a pocket. Side metal zip. Dress has three dime sized grease spots near the front pleat, and the top of that pleat has pulling on the stitches. (see bigger photo). Otherwise solid in fabric and construction -- ready to wear!

Condition:  Oh-la-la! By far one of the finest examples of 1940s clothing I have ever carried! Made of navy blue rayon, the dress is decorated with white seed beads in a chinese characters design. Dress has pockets and the matching belt. Side metal zip. Dress does have light ring around the collar on the inside of the dress, nothing a little dry cleaning won't take care of! Don't let this shining example of post war fashion pass you by!!!

Condition:  Darling little black dress with an overskirt of netting and black ribbons. Bought this for myself 10 years ago, tucked it away and never got a chance to wear it. Too small for me now. My loss is your gain!!! One small hole in the netting between the stitched down ribbons about an inch long at the right hand side waist. You could repair it easily with stitching black netting down on the back side of the skirt. There are a few other smaller holes, nothing too noticable when wearing this amazing dress! Solid in fabric and construction -- ready to wear!

Condition:  This short wrap/swing coat is out of this world!!! Made of some delightful striped satin/taffeta. I love Maxan garments -- they always used this sort of beautiful stripe fabric. No issues al all with this piece -- solid in fabric and construction -- ready to wear!

Condition:  Darling striped taffeta dress with front buttons. Looks like a Maxan textile, but the dress is not tagged. In A++ condition, but there is a "fault" it needs a hem -- which you can do to suit your height and style. Love this kind of dress!!!

Condition:  This is a long striped taffeta swing coat and belt. Like the other Maxun's on this page it is incredible! (but has no tag, not sure if it is a Maxun). This is made of someone with thin arms, modern small/medium. This gem has been hiding in my closet for ten years, I never wore it! I confess I hoard vintage clothing! I am finally offering it all up to you! No issues at all with this coat, the taffeta is as crisp and bright as the day it was made! A rare find indeed!!!

Condition:  Waaaah! I don't fit this dress! Made of colorful striped rayon with front buttons nice 3/4 sleeves with fat cuffs, V neckline, light gathers on the collar, super full skirt. Oh yeah, it ain't perfect. (Zoom in on the detail photo) On the upper left of the bodice near the collar there are apx. 6 small holes in the fabric. You could repair them by backing the area with similar fabric. Also some of the edges of the fabric buttons are beginning to fray. Despite the flaws this dress has loads of life left in it, it really wants to go home with you and go to a Rockabilly Weekender. (I go to a lot of them and have never seen a gal wearing a dress as lovely as this one!) Please give me a good home!

Condition:  Oh la la! I've got quite a collection of Maxan's, 'eh? Jealous? Don't be I just like to hoard vintage, and now I am selling it all! No more hoarding! So, this is a wrap jacket with wide gathered peplum. Has the belt, which is kinda rough where the eyelts are. Jacket itself has no serious flaws . there is light normal wear to it for being vintage. Like all Maxan garments this stripes are perfectly matched and the colors are out of this world!!!

Condition:  Very rare vintage evening gown maternity dress of magenta rayon. Slip on style with elastic in the front waist. Being sold as is because there is a fade on the skirt and on one of the ends of the waist tie. Arrrgh! Otherwise the fabric is in tip top shape, no holes, pulls, etc. In my 15 years of doing this for a living I have never found (until this one) a 1940s vintage maternity gown, actually finding maternity clothes that are vintage is difficult, it's a rarity. So with that in mind, if yer knocked up and have a fancy place to go, you need this gown!!!

Condition:  Va-va-voom darling! I totally love the cut of this dress with the assymetrical notched pocket and mirrored detail on the neckline. The dress is a woven two shades of brown and the details are a gold lurex in a rusty brown color fabric. Square buttons with rhinestones. Dress does have pit stains (zoom in on larger photo) and some of the rhinestones are missing on the buttons. Otherwise the dress is solid in fabric and construction. Ready to wear on the town!

Condition:  Darling dusty rose color rayon cocktail dress with satin bows decorating it with copper colored beads on them. Side metal zip. Slight fade on the shoulders/pit area, not too noticable when wearing the dress out and about. Someone let the hem all the way out so there is a thin line on the fabric. Nothing a little freshening up with a dry cleaning won't cure.

Condition:  Wow! This classic beauty is out of this world. Made of a striped textured weave rayon in black, this dress has corded details on the sleeveheads and pocket. Delicate lace on the collar, and three hefty carved button on the left hip area. Pull over, no zipper. The lace is yellowed and does have a few tiny holes in it. I think the buttons are bakelite due to the age of this dress, which I think is from the late 30s and not a 40s dress at all. Solid in fabric and construction -- ready to wear!
