Description: Girlfriend, if you fit this dress, you have got to have it!
It is made of a Medium weight cotton, which has a waffle like texture, and the dress has a side metal zip. The dress is not lined, nor does it have pockets. But it does have a unique bodice of cotton lace (which is partially lined in the same cotton as the dress).
The bodice is done in a squared style, and the lining is cut to just cover your bust. The skirt is made up of tons of little pin pleats that are thin at the waist and wide at the hem.
The underarms and neckline do not have any sweat stains, and the only fault I found was a couple of tiny repairs on the shoulders (I'd say from the dress hanging on a hangar for so long, it would have put stress on the delicate lace.
The dress is solid in fabric and construction -- clean and ready to wear!

There is a small pin hole in the netting at the top nearest the neckline, also there is light wear on the neckline seam, just fraying nothing serious. No stains or discolorations on the dress itself.

Condition: Super 40s day dress in a brown and white daisy print. Bodice is trimmed with white cotton lace. Dress is unlined and has a side metal zip. Appears home sewn. Fabric is free from any holes or pulls. Lone fault to the dress is that there is a super light yellowing on the edge of the hem, and it is not noticable in all types of light. I had to look through the fabric in the daylight to even notice this. I suspect it is from storage, because the neckline and underarms are not worn or discolored. Clean and ready to wear. |
